Cen-Dex - Spare Mag Carrier
Comfort
This is a great simple design for a mag carrier. I was able to wear this
mag carrier pretty comfortably while driving, sitting, and walking. It
can be worn with most any belts, the belt loop is adjustable using a rubber
spacer to adjust the clip to allow it to fit most any common size belt.
While sitting for an extended period of time, I was only slightly uncomfortable
by the magazine itself poking me in the spare tire.
Body style will not likely be a major factor for many readers.

Durability
The Kydex body is made well, and fits the mag's snugly.
I would assume all caliber of mag's made would fit well in the same carrier.
I will confirm that they retain cross caliber once my sub-compact arrives.
The Kydex is textured similar to the holsters and is smooth on the inside.
If you are looking for a well concealing mag carrier this unit would work fine. People may be concerned that the mag will print to much when its worn, I just pushed the mag carrier a little farther left and rotated it around my waist a little more. The carrier itself is small in size and concealability would partially depend on how large a magazine your trying to conceal. When you wear the mag carrier it can be worn with many configurations of clothing. As long as your not wearing a tank top or a mesh/fishnet shirt it is fairly easily concealed.
Street Clothes
As you can see there isn't much printing, I had no trouble concealing the mag with just about anything I wore as long as it wasn't too tight. Jeans or slacks for casual wear posed no problems shorts were more complicated because I don't like to wear a belt when i wear shorts, but that's just me.
When wearing a button-up shirt untucked the mag carrier concealed best. As this is my most common mode of wear I have found no major problems other than drafty wind that blows your shirt up which can reveal the mag carrier, but weather is something nobody can control. Concealability wasn't diminished when wearing slacks, either loose or tighter fitting.
At the time of this review my Tux is at the cleaners getting prepared for my wedding which is 28 days & counting. So unfortunately I wont be able to get pictures for this review until it gets back please check back later.
Retention
The way this mag carrier is designed it has an adjustable retention mechanism built into the carrier. I found that it was able to easy adjust the mag carrier to the "perfect" retention level for me so that the mag wouldn't shake loose, but it can still be easily pulled out when needed.
Cen-Dex does offer the mag carrier in a clip or loop option, whichever you prefer. They also offer the mag carrier is a clear material called PETG which is similar to Kydex more info about this material can be fond on the manufacturers web site.
Draw speed
The mag carrier can be very quickly drawn and employed when necessary. I was very pleased to find how quickly I was able to draw my mag's.
Tactical Reholstering
Because of of the properties of Kydex and its form holding ability, tactical one-handed reholstering is a breeze with this mag carrier.
Features
Ease of Removal
The mag carrier is made with a single, approximately
one inch wide Kydex loop. Because it's not a clip style mount, the belt
has to fully/partially removed in order for you to take it off the belt
to remove the mag carrier. However, I never had to concern myself that
the mag carrier would fall or get pulled off my belt because of the rubber
spacer I had in mine it really prevented any sliding of the mag carrier
around the belt unless it was an intentional adjustment.
Because Kydex is so stiff as long as you keep dust and dirt out of it it will remain smooth and be pretty easy on the magazine's finish.
Sharp Edges
The mag carrier has no sharp edges at all. It is well shaped and well made.
Product Care.
Maintaining the mag carrier is very easy. The inside of the carrier is smooth, using a soft rag or towel and mild soapy water if necessary, remove any dirt/sand & dust particles that could be inside that carrier that could be hard on the magazines finish.

Because the carrier is not specific to a particular magazine design many different magazines calibers could be carried in the same mage carrier.

Since I only have a four inch .40 service model, I cannot confirm yet whether or not the sub-compact 9mm mag is more comfortable as it is smaller and less likely to poke to side of the spare tire. The mag carrier should be universal and work with different models of magazines. Keep in mind this yet untested, but I will be testing that very soon and will confirm that it fits.

This is a good mag carrier for the price. Its small and easy to use, and would be best if you only want to carry one extra mag at a time.
